REAL SALT LAKE TO HOST MLS CUP PLAYOFF WATCH PARTY THURSDAY AT RIO TINTO STADIUM  $20 Ticket to All-You-Can-Eat Buffet for Eastern Conference Semifinal Leg #2 Featuring RSL & Columbus Budweiser Club Real Doors Open at 5:30 p.m. MT Real Salt Lake invites its fans to Rio Tinto Stadium's 2nd-floor "Club Real" presented by Budweiser this Thursday night for a watch party in conjunction with the team's Eastern Conference Semifinal second leg at Columbus against the Defending MLS Cup Champion Crew. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. MT, and a $20 cover charge provides access to an all-you-can-eat buffet and unlimited Pepsi products and FIJI water. Budweiser will also feature $5 drafts for those over 21 years of age. Tickets should be purchased in advance at either www.RealSaltLake.com or www.RioTintoStadium.com. Racing's AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series, the nation's premier Snocross racing circuit, announced that Rio Tinto Stadium, one of Utah's world-class sports and entertainment venues, will host the Western Nationals on Saturday, January 9, 2010. The first-time event is one of nine Nationals on the 2009-2010 schedule and the only one west of the Mississippi. The day-long, open-air event culminates with the Main Event, starting at 7:00 p.m. MT. The Main Event will feature the Pro and Semi-Pro racing, freestyle shows and other finals from the day's qualifying racing. DÉJÀ VU ALL OVER AGAIN For the second consecutive season, RSL carries a 1-0 aggregate goal lead into the road leg of an MLS Cup Semifinal series, once again due to late heroics at Rio Tinto Stadium. RSL FW Robbie Findley slotted home the game-winner in the 88th minute on Saturday against the Crew, courtesy of a Yura Movsisyan cross following Will Johnson's quick-thinking throw-in. Last year at this time, it was Movsisyan's 90th-minute goal that gave RSL a 1-0 lead going back to LA against Chivas USA, with RSL earning a 2-2 draw at The Home Depot Center to advance to the Western Conference Final in its first-ever MLS Cup Playoff experience. A tie or win Thursday vaults RSL to back-to-back Conference Finals, albeit in different conferences. Thursday's series decider in Columbus is set for a 6:00 p.m. MT kickoff at Crew Stadium, with the contest televised nationally via ESPN2. Fans can also follow the action live via radio at Freedom 570 (English) and ESPN Deportes 1600-AM (Spanish).
